TERMS & CONDITIONS
While making full use of its advantages in the translation of Chinese, Houston Translation is able to offer provide you high-quality translation with competitive price which other translation firms cannot achieve. All translators of Houston Translation are accredited and bound to non-disclosure agreements. Their credentials are available upon request. Once the cooperation is reached, both sides will try to obey the following terms and conditions:
A) The charges for translation and desktop publishing are based on the number of word count, number of page count, and format of the source documents, and the translation charges are based upon Houston Translation returning the completed material via e-mail/FTP or express mail.
B) Before we send the finished translations to you, we would prefer that the completed translation be reviewed to ensure that the work is completely satisfactory. Upon the completion of the review, Houston Translation will make the necessary changes swiftly and return the completed work to the client at no additional cost, provided there are no changes to the original document/material.
C) Houston Translation hopes it will not bring you any trouble if we ask any glossaries of terminology from you. However, if the glossaries were not available, any reference material would be helpful to us.
D) When the translation is finished, Houston Translation will assign them to a full-time mother tongue translator who has the appropriate technical background and expertise.
E) Prior to the commencement of the translation, clients will be advised of the delivery time for the translation and desktop publishing of their projects. Alternative delivery times can also be arranged if necessary. However, they may incur an additional rush charge.
F) Delivery will be made free of charge, within a previously agreed time scale, by whatever means is appropriate.
G) The charges and other terms detailed in the proposal are binding upon Houston Translation and are valid for a period of 30 days from the initial quote date.
H) The agreement page must be signed and faxed/emailed back to Houston Translation prior to commencement of the translation assignment.
